Portrait photography should not be about contrived backdrops, studio lighting and predictable out-dated poses: it should be about capturing the character of the sitter.

We feel that to get the most from a sitting you should feel comfortable, confident and relaxed which is why we like to meet you on your home turf, or somewhere you feel at ease.

We don't bring intrusive and immobile lighting set-ups and backgrounds but instead prefer to use natural light, where possible, and letting you move where you feel most comfortable; adapting organically to each situation.

Our portraits are usually shot in black and white, although we do shoot in colour on request, and each image is expertly retouched in Photoshop to an exacting standard creating unique memories; more than just photographs.
